Founding of Vaapsi
Vaapsi was founded by Malkiat Singh, a man whose personal journey from addiction to recovery through Gurbani and Sikhi became the very foundation of our mission. After overcoming his own struggles, Malkiat Singh witnessed the devastating toll of addiction within the Punjabi Sikh community including the heartbreaking loss of a close friend to an overdose. This fueled his determination to bring about change, and he dedicated his life to helping others break free from addiction and rediscover hope, healing, and purpose.

Vision of Healing
With compassion and tireless devotion to Seva (selfless service), Malkiat Singh envisioned Vaapsi as a place where individuals could recover in a supportive, culturally rooted environment. His mission was simple: to ensure that no one had to walk this journey alone. Malkiat Singh’s legacy lives on, and his vision continues to guide us.

Our Commitment to the Vision
In Malkiat's Singh honor, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a holistic path to recovery. At Vaapsi, we blend professional support with the spiritual strength of Gurbani and the principles of Sikhi. We believe that with the right support, anyone can overcome addiction and rebuild a life filled with health, purpose , and community.
Stay Connected to Vaapsi
